Jus stumbled upon a fren's blog, which I have not seen for months. and yes ppl do change. yet some things remain unchanged. i think it is easy to be friends, when there are no expectations of returns. Sometimes we expect so much from our frens, yet our best frens are probably the ones who don't expect anything out of us. for me at least. thus being a fren is very simple. not abt living up to expectations, but doing what u want to do. enjoying the company of ur frens, and not meeting up simply cos we feel obliged to do so. thank you my friends.

and week 6 has just gone by.handed up my finance report. more work to do today.

and there is a talk on Work and Travel (study?) in the USA in summer. I want to go. but i want to come back before 1 july 2007, which is a little hard, after I look through the dates and job available. nvm. will go find out more. I want to wresle grizzly bears and feed seagulls :)

went for a talk by Boeign yesterday. we had to move froma seminar room, which houses 40 ppl, to a conference hall, which housed probably 100+ ppl? most of whom were "encouraged" to come due to teh influenc of our module, Technology and World Change. we have to do a review of a case study on Air bus, hence tehre was a lot of Airbus questions directed at the Vice President of Boeing. Haha. and he provided candid responses, though he did try his case to present a better case for boeing. was reading teh paper on Airbus. Amazing how ppl from both sides try to present us with data that furthers their case. and yes, if u were educated ion the sg education system, u would probably buy every single word in the Airbus paper, or by teh Boeing VP. think i can see now why we need to do paper reviews. haha

remember our business, govt and society prof once said that statistics inreal life produces only statistics of successful firms. thinks that applies in this case too. haha. must say all these foreign profs do provide a different dimension to our learning.

weekends are going to be burnt in school most probably. i m worried abt how i m going to sit for exams at the end of this semester. so much to study!
Income tax - a chore;
finance - needs revision;
Accounting info system - till today, i still don't know what it is about;
company law - law is not exactly my forte. my brains works in chronological order, not mindmaps like law; and
TWC - no joke, 2 business cases, and exam - what is coming up for exam??? haha

spiritually wise, i have not been attending sbm sessions. because my saturdays are mostly burnt in sch from now on. darn.and the only thing i m helping out is with camp, which i m not helping out much at this moment. kaiyi, our camp mistress is at the helm and i can only support her as much as i can.

smubs can go the distance, if we persist.

and yes, everyone is stressed up. and i m going to provide destress - mooncake festival is on next friday! haha if u don't know what mooncake festival is abt, it is the 15th day of teh 8th lunar month, where families gather to eat mooncakes, carry lanterns and view teh nice moon. pray it does the rain. heard of the stody of Chang er, the lady who flew to the moon, with her bunny? can go check out her story.

but..... saturday got finance exam. haha.

and yes custard buns from peach garden! let's go peach garden to eat and destress.

and puee has found a nice loft for accomodation. which she can move in only on the 12 oct. at least it is nice! whee! congrats! really fast in geting the place!

esmond left on mon, puee left on tues, tim left on wed, john left on thurs and jiahui is leaving tonight! on fri! all left/leaving for UK!
